Meet the experienced leaders guiding the International Budō Kaikan.
Jan De Bruin serves as the Chairman (Kanchō) of the Kyokushin Full Contact Karate division. With years of experience and dedication to the art, he is committed to upholding the standards and principles of Kyokushin Karate within the International Budō Kaikan. He is a guiding force for students and instructors alike.
Eric Van Vaerenbergh leads the Kyokushin Budokai All-Round Fighting division as Chairman (Kanchō). His expertise in various martial arts disciplines ensures a comprehensive and dynamic training environment. He is dedicated to fostering well rounded martial artists capable of excelling in all aspects of combat.
Marc Howes is a Special Advisor (Tokubetsu Komon) to the Chairman (Kanchō) of the Kyokushin Budokai All-Round Fighting division. His insights and guidance are invaluable in shaping the direction and curriculum of the division. He brings a wealth of knowledge and a passion for martial arts excellence.
Tom Madsen also serves as a Special Advisor (Tokubetsu Komon) to the Chairman (Kanchō) of the Kyokushin Budokai All-Round Fighting division. His contributions are essential in maintaining the high standards and innovative approach of the division. He is a dedicated practitioner and a valuable asset to the IBK.
